He has just left Groupama AM, where he managed European small- and mid-cap strategies, totalling over \u20ac4 billion in assets under management. He brings along his co-manager Cyril de Vanssay. The management boutique is targeting around \u20ac100 million in assets under management in the very short term, via individual investors, a private bank and a family office. Over the next three to five years, it aims to exceed one billion euros in assets under management.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>His background<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Cyrille Carri\u00e8re, 49, began his career at Rothschild &amp; Cie Gestion in 1998, as a financial analyst specializing in European equities. In 2007, he joined Barclays Wealth Managers France, where he became a fund manager for the first time. In 2012, he moved to Groupama AM to become deputy head of equity and convertible management. Since then, he has been accumulating professional awards for the performance of his funds. Cyrille Carri\u00e8re holds a master&#8217;s degree in finance from ESCP and a master&#8217;s degree in economics from the University of Paris 1 Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>His company<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Lonvia Capital is an independent management company owned by its seven partners. Two of these managers are from Amiral Gestion. The company obtained AMF approval last June and will launch its first three funds this week.
